Pleasant Dog Walks
We are a friendly, reliable and trustworthy dog walking provider based in Sully and offer our services within the local area (Penarth, Sully, and the surrounding areas)
Dogs can become bored and destructive if they are left alone for a long period of time. That's where we can help. We can break up your canines day by providing the physical exercise and mental stimulation that your dog requires to relieve their boredom until their loving owner returns home.
We are insured to walk a maximum of 6 dogs at anyone time and use local venues. All dogs are kept on leads unless agreed with owners to do otherwise. If you would like photos of what your dog has been up to during their walk, this is not a problem and can be sent via WhatsApp or uploaded onto our Facebook page for you to view.
A home visit is required for new customers so we can meet you and your four legged friend(s). This enables us to find out more about your dog(s), complete a customer consent form and to discuss what level of service you require.
All payments are required before the dog walk starts, either via bank transfer or money can be left for us to collect.
History
While I was growing up we always had dogs in the household and this is where my passion / interest in dogs began. This then led me to rehome my first Siberian husky Mishka. I was hooked by how affectionate and loving she was and ended up getting a second Siberian called Shadow. Shadow was 1yr old and he took naturally to pulling a 2 wheeled scooter. From here we then began to race in organised Siberian husky rallies and have done extremely well winning the BSHRA scooter championship in 2015 / 2016 season. I had got the bug and next came 2 puppies, Mia and Seren. I wanted to spend more time with my pack of Siberians but work prevented this, so I decided to set up my own dog walking business and Pleasant Dog Walks was born.
Experience
I have cared for dogs for over 20 years, be it my own or friends when they have been away, where I have provided safe home boarding for their 4 legged friends. My own dogs range from 10 months old up to age 14 and due to this I feel I have a great deal of experience with all age ranges and am able to provide the right level of care for all. I am used to managing large breeds which can be extremely strong and boisterous at times.
Qualifications
I am fully insured to walk / transport dogs having public liability insurance and business insurance. I currently hold a mountain leader award so you will have no worries about me getting lost while out walking your best friend.
